Are you willing to go around the neighborhood and ask people to spruce up their yards ? What if they tell you to mind your own business and they can do whatever they want ? You can see by some of the responses on here that people think they can do whatever they want and the hell with everybody else.

We need to discuss the Deed R.

We can't concern ourselves with fines at this point. I've read the deed restrictions and they are as clear as mud. I actually can't believe these were written anytime after 1970. I've never seen restrictions written so poorly. Now with that said we should review the deed restrictions and see what needs to be done to protect ourselves in the future. I for one plan on staying around for some time. Therefore I have a strong interest in having deed restrictions that mean somehting. After they are in place then we can set up a process of several warnings. Then fines. Then liens on the home. That's how it should be done but we have to start with the foundation. And in this case that is the deed restrictions themselves.
