I will have to say one thing.  There are some lively cats in this little city. They told me that the educational level of the established residents was high when I as looking for a house. Kinda reminds me of Bellemeade in Davidson County, Tennessee or Brentwood in Williamson County.

Let's go back to the need for TWO (not one) more speed humps on Chadwick. Metro originally planned for a total of six humps. We got four.  Don't think the speeders are all at the South end of the street....they also speed on my end of the street.  For the new members of Bellemeade maybe you haven't noticed that the Moorgate section does not have door to door mail delivery,,,our boxes are on the street....some even have to cross the street to get the mail...it is dangerous to pick up the mail during rush hour.  We really need to be heard.

From where I sit, it appears that there are not going to be any more speed himps installed on your street.  As I read all of those posts, seems like this issue has been coming to a head for months and months.  At least your strret is clear - oh oh, that is not good because the speeders don't have to worry about the snow.

You can have the mailbox put on your side of the street, rather you can put it on your side of the street.  But it requires some form of notification/communication with the post office.  I had mine on my side of the road in Tennessee but I had to fill out a form to be allowed to move it from the other side..

Only on Chadwick will the Post Office give permission to move the box across the street. The only reason we were able to move ours to our yard is because years ago someone had already done so.  It was an involved process.
