RTHA had nothing to do with the fence. Although we did receive a complaint a while back about ATVs driving across a vaccant lot next to a concerned persons home. RTHA gave that person a phone number to the City of Fort Worth for calling in complaints. Apparently the City put up the fence to stop the complaints. It is a City owned lot and the fence is on the City owned side of the property line. No RTHA dollars were used for the fence. Perhaps joining RTHA and participating in the events that concern our residents would give you a better understanding of all the hard work that we do that you know nothing about. Please, we are always open to new ideas and new members.

So basically - RTHA is saying that this resident is wrong:

The fence is partially on my property and partially on the easment and since you can't build anything on an easment I think i'll do the city a favor and remove it!  The city said the HOA had it contstructed,  I think the land owner should be responsible for cleaning his land though.

By the way - I have never seen nor heard of the City of  Fort Worth using tax money to put up a fence on a vacant lot to keep ATV's out.  Since you are a member of RTHA then you must have proof that this was indeed done by the City?  Yes or No?  Has RTHA gone and seen the fence?  How do you know this resident is not correct in their complaint and that the  fence is on their land too? Do you have proof that the vacant lot belongs to the city?  I would like to see that too.  I am beginning to think that a lot of the information given on this forum by RTHA is not 100% accurate and that is very disappointing!

Now TCB, you know that the RTHA only posts facts. Everything they put in here is 100% correct. They never contradict themselves. That's all been said in other posts. How can we commoners have any knowledge of our property, we don't see the big picture. Wink

It is possible that we are not talking about the same fence. We know that the vaccant lot on Saranac that the City recently installed a fence, is actually a street right-of-way. There is even a street sign on the pole. The city just never built the street. Yes, we know for a fact that is City property.
