Actually parked cars on the street make it more dangerous for small kids that run out to chase a ball.  It is very hard to see a small kid coming out from behind a parked car.  And a lot of these cars are parked illegally.  They are parked to close to stop signs and curves in the street.

I agree with alt.  Adding more cars to the curb is flawed logic.  It'll just create more problems.  I'm thinking about buying some of those spike strips.  That should get some attention.

Ya, not only do parked cars on the street make it more dangerous for kids but it also makes the neighborhood look like crap and very congested. When we first looked at houses in this neighborhood with our real estate agent that was my first impression, too many parked cars on the streets made it look so tacky.  I guess overtime Ive just gotten use to it.

Thank God we have concerned citiczens on patrol and police to handle all those 4-wheelers and motorcycles instead,  imagine how dangerous it would be for our kids if not!  Is it not ridiculous how some peoples priorities line up.  I am much more concerned with the hazards involved with cars parked on both sides of narrow streets, lawns not tended, driveways piled with 2h*#...And by the way, it's ignorant to think it's safer for our kids when cars are parked on both sides of the road, rdub, you were joking right(or is one of the cars yours?)  stayathomemom...you are exactly right,  it looks like crap!
