I think we all agree that cars on the curb are not a good thing. Perhaps it does slow down a few, but the dangers it presents are so troubling. Anybody who has driven around the Salado Curve knows what I mean. Cars on both sides leading up to blind curve, whew! Until recently, there wasn't even sidewalks for the smaller ones to bike on. One place I lived only allowed parking on the north and west sides of the streets. But that was a smaller city than Fort Worth so I don't see anything happening to help us out, other than citizens taking it upon themselves to do right. Again, I sound like a pessimist.

Actually, I just inquired about speed humps with the City about two weeks ago.  The response was that 80% of traffic had to be doing more than 35 MPH in order to qualify for alternative speed reduction devices.  They also said that we have to put a commitee togeather to come up with a Traffic Plan.

I will be addressing this with the rest of the HOA executive commitee members tonight.  We will need volunteers to join the Traffic Plan Commitee in order to make this happen.  I will solicit for volunteers when the time comes.

Please report all Hazardous Driving via the Online Complaint system located on the home page of this website.

They will send a letter to the owner of the vehicle. Repetitive violations will receive citations.

This will also give the police department trending information.  If they start to see an influx of complaints, they will set up a detail within the neighborhood to catch violators.

Let em know if the link does not work.

OK.  Link is not working.  I'll see what I can do.

In the meantime, visit FORT WORTH PD Website to report Hazardous Driving.  Look to the right side of the PD home page.  you should see the link there.
