Well I seem to remember the members of the community being outraged because our now hoa President Mr. Dubose was standing in the street on Tyne and Concho handing out letters telling residents that a child was struck and killed by a car!!!  It was a bogus letter which infuriated many residents and probably did nothing to help the cause!  Surely there are others that remember,  he would also stand in the street with his video camera video taping people as the would drive down the street!  I hardly think that's the way to get your point across.

Oh I remember....especially all the crosses placed in the yards all the way down the road.   Honestly,  it was a  deceitful.  Many  thought a child had been hit and killed.   I can understand the cause but do not agree with the tactics.   I surely hope Mr. Dubose uses better judgement when it comes to HOA issues.  Wonder - was there anyone else running for President?

Few showed up at the meeting to begin with, all of those elected ran unopposed.

As always, makes one wonder if the HOA is more intrusive than necessary, why can't neighbor just be neighbors, like mine were for 16 years in Hurst?  No dues, no titles no intrusion.(and we kept our yards better than most are here, and repaired our own fences without expecting someone else to pay for it and our kids rode there little mini- bikes and tiny 4-wheelers in the Hurst Community park(and no-ones child was run over in the street)  we looked out  for each other instead of looking for reasons o call the police on each other!  The police were called on criminals not neighbors.
