Levels of Cognitive Functioning

Complaining!!!!

I guess what really got me going was the humorous/bad (?) attitude in your correspondence. Instead of asking for ideas, who to call or any suggestions, you had to have a flippant attitude toward the neighborhood and all that we have accomplished. I know myself and several others do not appreciate the ''put downs'' of who and what we are in the neighborhood (ie. - at a drug march, you are the one in the yellow shirt - who could tell if you were serious or even there?, our clubs, etc.). As I said in my original reply - you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. You will find this community more than willing to help their neighbors solve problems. All you have to do is ask!!!

A hammer for you Carol

Carol,

Why don't you take all this negative energy you've got stored up and go buy a problem house to fix and sell to a nice family! That's what changing this neighborhood not clubs and parties. I've got an extra hammer with your name on it anytime YOU feel like doing something constructive! Builders/contractors are the ones changing this niche neighborhood over. I'm not here because of clubs and parties, I'm here to fix up homes and watch my property values grow!
Come on over Carol and bang away!

We are being judged!

I wasn't aware Carol that we were being judged so severely by you on this site! I did have to look up the word cognitive and I have no problem stating that. Just because I made light of it doesn't mean I was attacking the newsletter. I didn't realize that my posting to Bill stating I was at a drug march and I was wearing a yellow shirt would offend you so much! Seriously Carol, making light of something and attacking it are two different things. This neighborhood belongs to all of us Carol, not one person or club. We are ALL making it what it is, not one person or club! If things offend you this much Carol perhaps you should read the postings like you would watch a TV program. If you don't like the channel....then maybe you should turn it!

A trade

Although it won't be the first time, I'll pick up a hammer when you join a club. Perhaps you should reread my response to Raymond's ''unsightly properties'' titled ''What makes a neighborhood?''
