At what expense. You were quick to spend the money but you have yet to post how much you spent! Plus, since you were not at the last board meeting (being a board member) you would have heard everyone suggest that it was not necessary!

We are still waiting on you to post the meeting minutes. Mu guess is that you never will. l if you had read them you would have known better.

How much money does the association have left from this purchase?

Safety and welfare are always a priority for Board members whether the residents believe it or not. Sadly, it is many of the "older" residents who speed and disregard stop signs and set a pretty poor example for the younger people here in Town Lake.

The comment about it being only/mostly older residents that are the speeders.  That is not a true statement.  It is every age group of residence.  Example: I have seen the teenagers driving the green 4 door tracker just driving the circle peeling out & flying around the corners leaving tire marks.  Thursday morning after my children just left the house to walk around the corner to the bus stop I heard someone with there foot to the floor flying down the road & right past my boys who had just crossed the street.  I jumped on my bike to go down there & I was trying to see who it was.  He told me his kids missed getting on the bus at there stop.  I told him he was driving to fast & he just waved his hand at me like whatever....  So it isn't any particular age group mostly younger kids but it is everyone..

Idiots come in all ages out here...

I think we should replace the gates with something much nicer. The gate we have looks trashy and never works...

I assume the color is so people will see it, but I would like a black gate.
