I disagree with the older part, however I do AGREE that safety, welfare and security are a priority.

I said at the meeting and I will say again I would glady pay double what we pay in dues if we could increase the security around here. That includes limiting access and having working gates.

Perhaps there is a mis-understanding of the word "many" that throws people. As an adjective, it means more, a large number, various or numerous. It does not mean the majority, most or all. And as far as the word "older" we could mean that as persons above the age of - say - 35. The point is families trying to get their kids to school usually are running late and go faster than they normally would. Some residents don't care (young or old) as evidenced by all the oil pan marks on the speed bumps. We need to make this a SAFE place for adults, teens, kids and animals and the only way to do that is to think about what we do.
