So, do we know who will be monitoring the cameras after all, or is that one of those need to know questions and home owners just don't need to know? 35 is the new 45

There is no need to review the recordings unless something has happened, hence no one needs to monitor the cameras. |

I said at the meeting and I will say again I would glady pay double what we pay in dues if we could increase the security around here. That includes limiting access and having working gates.
I agree with this statement for the most part. If it increases security around here, I too would gladly pay double. On the otherhand, double for some folks (including myself) would be difficult to comeby. I truely believe those who don't or can't, will only miss more payments. Then of course a lien will be placed on the property, yadda yadda.

Who's DVR will be doing the recording? What is the quality of the video? What's the definition of a "happening"? What are the procedures for and Who can request images? It's just that I've heard a SAPD officer tell one working class single mother, with a recording of a man threatening to kill her, that they don't investigate crimes on private property, and another SAPD officer tell another working class couple, whos car was a victim of a hit and run by a neighbor moving, that they don't investigate traffic incidents on private property. So, if only certain crimes will get investigated on our private property, then it's up to us to look out for our own, so I wonder what the rules and procedures will be for how the cameras will actually help us. |
