So, what was the result of looking at the tapes from the cameras? Has anyone been IDed? Are the police still involved? What have they said? Will the cameras be replaced?

Yes, there's footage of the teen breaking our camera. positive ID, no. Suspicion, yes. The local locksmith/security company (Champion Lock), owner Rene Moldonado, located in the Perrin Point Plaza has IR cameras that are able to withstand a significant impact for around $250 each installed. the trend is away from high mounted cameras, as a baseball caps or hoody hide the face. We could even get a camera mounted in the speed bump to read license plates. What would be really nice is to have the cameras dispay on our TVs or internet, so one could see the person calling our phone prior to allowing access. Our goal needs to be zero tolerance for security breaches.

Couldn't we post a clip of the video on this forum for parents/guardians/neighbors to review? Some aspect of identity might be more identifiable to those close to the individual. |
