Thanks mycountrygal for helping calling the banks I have been doing this for weeks now and I have been getting the same result  as well. You just need to call them with the address.  I have some more I am calling tomorrow to see if they are in for-closer so we can get them cleaned up and hopeful stay clean. I know that some I have called on were about to go into for-closer or just went into for-closer so those ones take awhile but am keeping a list so I can get back to them in a few weeks. There is one house on Rousay Dr that is real bad I called on it today and the real-estate girl said that if I can get someone to clean it up for around 100 to 150.00 she would hire them so I called the guy who did our landscaping and he said that  he does a one time clean up for 100.00 a yard. So tomorrow am going to call the real-estate company and have them call him.

And I don't mind being a pain in the banks side,I have really talk to some real nice people as you probably know with your dealing with them....

I would suggest meeting at the school Sat. morning. Let's say around 700 am. Bring a list of houses that need cleaning up, if you have one. We can break up into teams and work for 3-4 hours. Then do it again on Sun if needed. I know everyone has lives and other things to do over the weekend. Tell everyone about it and lets work together and CLEAN UP CASTLEGATE!!!!!

This is a good idea!!  But shouldn't the HOA be sending the owner or bank (foreclosed homes) a notice!! Again a great idea, but yard maintence is an ongoing job!! If I was able to find out which banks own the foreclosed homes around me,why can't kachina? HMMMM!!!  This is why we have a HOA. I know all of you have good intentions, and I applaud you!! But, I really believe this is a job for the HOA. Good luck, drink lots of water!!

Kachina DOES send them notices if and when they find out about the homes, the problem is the bank or investor typically does not care so then unfortunately there isn't a ton that can be done.  Maybe they care more if they receive a phone call, maybe the letters never even get read who knows, but as long as Kachina is informed of the problem I'm sure they send letters, it's up to the bank/investor on if they are going to actually step up to the plate and do something about it or not.
