My husband said that we started off here paying $90 for 3 months but its been raised to $105. But what is this raise for???? Nothing new has changed since we have moved in at all!! 

I have lived here now 2 1/2 yrs and had a wonderful run in with Mr Hammersma my first summer here. I was told i could not have my little play pen in the pool area where i was sitting under the shaded area with my new born daughter watching my son play while she took a nap mind you there was no one else up there and the woman at the Clubhouse (Karen) even held the gate for me to bring it in only to tell me an hr later when 2 women came to sun bath that i could not have it up there. So I called Mr H about it in whick I was blown off and talked to like crap by his secretary or whoever she was so i went ahead and called every hr for most of the afternoon until he finally would take my call where he then told me that he didn't even know what a play pen was and that strollers where not allow in which he then told me was because that is a state law in which it is not cause i can not only bring my stroller but my lil play pen to the Aquatic center in Altoona so i told him if it was okay there by state law then why not here and then i asked if we could revise the rules to suit a family neighborhood  since the rules read no children allowed in the pool of diaper age and no pool toys which he told me if he allowed ever child to have a toy up there if would be to crowded and then he said he would not change the rule about the diaper aged kids cause if one of those kids peed in his pool he would have to shut it down for  72 hr to clean it so i said then just put in the rules that they have to wear a swim diaper and there shouldn't be a problem and he said his rules where not up for negotiations and i said they are not rules that support a family neighborhood in which his response was that is the problem so you can decided for yourself what that comment meant he was rude and not nice at all and i also know that they paid one of the home owners in the sub to care for the pool and he was paid like maybe 60 bucks a month. when we first moved in we where told they were going to put a play area at the front but where later told by one of the older gentlemen at the front it was voted against so who voted that oh yeah Mr Hammersma told me that a association will be put in place when the last lot in the last zone is sold and when i said that I thought that $30 a month was alot for nothing since even all the equipment in the gym at the clubhouse has been donated or brought up there by people who live here he said that I should be happy it was so cheap that $30 a month didn't even pay to cut the grass here and if you notice that yes they did raise it to $35 a month now but that there is nothing in any paper work about any kind of cap for the dues so in reality they can keep raising every year if they want to whatever and there is nothing you can do about it and i also did mention that i felt the association should be run by individuals in the subdivision that live here and know first hand what is needed and what is not and he said that is called a community association and is different then the subdivision association and that we can do that for different things we would like to talk about but that will have nothing to do with the actual monies and decisions for the subdivision and why is it for all the money we pay the pool is never open it was closed for over half the season last year and i see we are headed for that way again it appears this year as well

When those rules were put into place (I think we got a letter or something?) I stormed right into Karen and flipped out on her b.s. pool rules.

I was also informed today that our new mailbox enclosure is against safety code due to it going indoor instead of out.

We need more people from our neighborhood to join this site and see what other problems there are although every new comment about something else that has been said or done really ticks me off more.
