GOOG LUCK WITH THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

We have paid our dues but I think it is ridiculious that the pool is still not open. I saw signs up on the club house yesterday saying it was closed and with absolutly no explanation. I know it was open memorial day weekend but that was it. It really makes me wonder where the money goes.

In the 2 years we have lived here we have heard of only 1 meeting and that was the one that was cancelled because of the weather.

I am still going to wait to hear from the collection agency he hired. I purposely asked if I would get into any legal trouble (as in the lien and the sheriff visit) if I chose not to pay the association fee while they are "investigating" the legality of the the association. Once I get a letter stating that the collection agency received proof or at least information that shows that this is all legit I will continue to not pay. Those are the people who are in charge of the liens and the visit from the sheriff. I asked the rep about the collection notices we get in the mail and she said that its just the letter and the don't even look at them. 

I will call again and see what happened and if there is a time frame on if they just drop the client.

I would think that if we could get the association in our hands members of it would take care of the lawn and snow removal.  That would save thousands!!  We could do a sign up at meetings and rotate out for each person willing to do the mowing and stuff.  If we had more say I would love to help out and cut our expenses.  It's just frustrating when we don't get any assistance from the man in charge of it.  We all need to work together to make this an enjoyable place to live.
