I cannot believe that someone would actually bond this woman out of jail. Here it is a week later, the baby is still in critical condition, and this Addington women is out already. Wow, this really seems wrong, doesn't it?!!

Not sure I undersatnd?
I'm not sure I understand the link between a person being free on bond and the crime they are alleged to have committed? Bond does nothing more than assure the person will be available for all future court appearances and has nothing to do with a person?’s eventual guilt or lack of it. The US Constitution assures that every citizen be allowed a ?“reasonable?” amount of bail if they are arrested. Not doing so would result in our having to build many more prisons to house people awaiting court proceedings. Keeping people in jail prior to a court finding amounts to imprisonment without adjudication which from my perspective flies in the face of the ?“innocent until proven guilty?” which our entire judicial system is based upon. |

That's the system for you!!
She's let out . The other guy was let out. It's sickening.I totally agree with PMF in the other post. These people should have the same done to them. From what I see and hear the wife of the other guy that did it a while back to the 5 month old is still with him.And this baby was a cousin's of hers that she was fostering. She told someone who used to be a friend till this happened that it's a sin to leave your husband... Guess it's not a sin to beat on babies though. |
