Are you serious?? I'm sorry that I'm not looking at this in a ''legal'' aspect, I was looking at this as a mother. As a mother, I do not feel there is any reasonable amount of money for the crime she committed. Don't get me wrong I feel the same way about people that kill, molest, and hurt children in any other way. I didn't realize that my statements on here where going to be analyzed through a legal aspect ao much!! I hope this clears everything up!! have a nice day!!

That's right. And I'm sure she'll find some drip of a defense lawyer who'll plea bargain some deal for her, claiming she was abused as a child, and that she didn't know any better, boo-hoo-hoo. It really just makes me sick. Yet one more example of how pathetically inept our system is at weeding out people who aren't even fit to adopt a dog from the local pound, let alone a child. Yet again, and now that I think of it, I believe we've discussed here before how there is more of a screening process to adopt a frigging pet down at the animal shelter than there is to adopt a real live little person. They'll give anyone with dependable transportation, a job, and a bank account a child it seems.

the stuff that happens to children and no stiff penalties. I think the sentences need to be way tougher. It's crazy how weak the sentences can be. two many gov agencies are not working. They are failing and some are near ruin. We need a government that does it's job. The social security, the immigration, the justice, DHS, the war on drugs, the homeland security, central intelligent and more are jammed up, failing, incompetent, have bad policies or just broken. We need a serious change. I'm involved in a child abuse case, my daughter was assaulted by her mom, and DHS main goal is to get my daughter back into moms house. In fact the very next day. It has been a fight to keep my daughter out of that house. The mom has yet to seek any kind of treatment. DHS does not care about my daughter's future safety, they only care about getting my daughter back in mom's home. makes me madder then heck. got a lawyer and got temp custody so things are going good but it's been a fight! we need a real change in our government. we need to protect all the babies and children! what say you
