actually talked to a girl from Maple glen today they aren't 200.00 they are 100.00 and their subdivision is a heck of alot cleaner then ours!

Great to hear. They initially were $200.00. Same as what the developers wanted us to pay. The developers are the same ones that did our subdivision. I am glad that they are down to $100.00 now.

So Called POA Board Meeting tonight because the President said so, and only 3 of the members of the board are able to be there, but this is enought of the board to get things accomplished without the rest of the members let alone the HomeOwners!  So who makes the rules?  Sounds to me like the President and not the HomeOwners...   Is should be the HomeOwners, but of course we are not the President and we do not know crap according to him.

As for any corporation that has a 5 person board, it only takes 3 of them being at the meeting to be a quorum. If 2 cannot attend then business can continue. In reading the newspaper the city council on a few recent occasions have not had a quorum so were not able to take care of any issues they had that were on their aganda. they had to call a special meeting when a quorum could be established. In the case the POA's board meeting, I hear that out of the 5 that are on the board, 1 will not be attending and 1 will more than likley not be attending. That leaves 3 and the quorum is established. Business can go on.

after looking at the poa page/ it reports that the attorney fee is 5-15k . why are you throwing down a 15k whenever you do not have specifics to the exact amount. the board should have the attorney fee in writing from him.. in essence you do not have a figure of what this will cost, or cannot provide an explanation to the owners on what exactly we are going to the attorney about other then liens or why we arent cutting out the pool since its not a need/ Where is the money for the pool this year being closed? There has been no meeting min from 2008-2010-2011? nor budget figures either?

again provide the information and maybe we will shut up......

Just asking a question here as a homeowner. Have you read the document on the web site about what the legal issue is?

only says from what we found, on block 1, and we should have something in writing from the attorney instead of playing a guessing game. We should already know the filing fee. Why would pay for more houses to be subdivision anyways? can they not form their own poa? you shouldnt be telling us about how much it cost until we have that figure?

so is the 108.00 for liens on houses or is it to get more subdivisions in something you guys cant seem to get under control in the first place?

you guys will not answer the questions, going back from my first post I intially wrote. instead of asking us to pay more money, lets get rid of the "WANTS" and take care of the needs, lets get that house on ST CLAIR that is hidious taken care of. front yards cleaned up, etx. The pool should be the last concern on that stupid budget, I'm tired of the pool and how it cost us more money all the time, That will cut around 3k out of the budget, there are rats coming out of peoples high backyards. We should have postings on here of the violations so we can see that you guys are actually seeing what you are doing. Definetly more communication needed. All bookeeping as well as bank statements should be posted on this website... We are only paying for utilities and the pool right? What else is there to hide?
