I would still like to know where the # 130 comes from. Does a household have to pay dues to be eligable to vote? Are 1300 households paying their dues? 10% of 1300=130.

You are correct. My numbers are a little off. You must be current on dues to be elligeable to vote. We have about 11% non pay right now which means 116 homes would be a quarum. |

Sorry, I have been out of the country for 8 months. Let me see if I get this right. We get rid of Kachina, hire Oasis. Brett quits Kachina and goes to Oasis. Was this before or after Kachina's being let go? Then Oasis raises our dues and services are they way they were before? HHHHMMMMMMM........Is Brett part of the issue? Did the board research different Management Companies before hiring Oasis? What was the process for this? Sounds to me like the community wasn't aware this was going to happen or had a say in this process. I think if we are paying more, we should expect more from our management company. I for one do not buy the broken printer. I think they didn't do it. Our community has suffered long enough with poor management. I know the board has a thankless job. I was trying to be a part of it prior to my leaving. But, there seams to be some serious issues going on here and I think we are intitled to those answers. We are all facing tough times financially and the decline in our housing value. This isn't helping at all.
I propose looking for a new management company who will NOT raise our dues and help us get this thing fixed! I am tired of my money being wasted on poor spending habits!!! |
