So let me get the complete idea of the thread: No Trespassing signs have been legally posted by Mr. Newell.  It has only been implied it is in place for motorcycles, nobody has answered that allegation. But, anybody on the land could/should be prosecuted regardless of their actions, again this is the friendly neighbor feeling I keep seeing and hearing.

If all of this is true, did Mr. Newell put the kiddie playground equipment on the green belt? Is seeing mothers/fathers watching their kids play in that area trespassing and should be enforced? Is this not akin to a family out walking their dog around the lakes? a group of bird watchers in the fields? kids on bicycles enjoying the open land around our community? a family on a fishing outing? those pesky motorcyclists enjoying the day with their families???

Everybody keeps quoting law, somebody please: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE??

What I don't understand is why the RTHA keeps saying that Mr. Newell owns all the land because he doesn't.   The land owned behind Rivertrails where the ATV's have been riding, is owned by Riverbend Industries LLC.  That is a company set-up by The Jack Henry Trust.  So,  why would Mr. Newell place "No Trespassing" signs on land he does not own?  Can the RTHA answer that question?  Do you even know what piece of property he does own?  Honestly,  you guys need to do your homework before you believe your concerned home owners.   They are feeding you with false information.  One angry home owner with insufficient information does not give the association the right  to place 'No Trespassing" signs on other owners property.....just to keep ATV's out.  And it would be nice if you could answer "Since90's" question  - were the signs put up to keep  ATV's out (which of course they were) or are they for "EVERYONE".    ANSWER - it doesn't matter whether they were put out there to keep ATV's out  - a No Trespassing sign means no one can trespass on that land.    However,  I doubt very seriously that the police will be called if people are seen walking out there......only if ATV's are seen or heard.    Do you see where this is going?  I can see ATV riders getting upset and calling the police on anyone they see out there regardless if they are walking,  fishing or riding their bikes.   Why should they be the ones singled out?

Ok, Ok,.. From this and past discussions, there are a few out there who have been real quick to say that motorcyclists are a bunch of lawbreaking outlaws. That they, along with their families have no right to enjoy the open areas around our community which helped  some to buy here 10+ years ago.  Now when TCB calls out all of those saying such, there is a deafening silence. Nothing new in a day and a half. For such a hot topic, that is an eternity.

So, where is RHTA,  the sign-on sounds like an official spokesperson for the HOA, and others condemning ALL trespassers. Or is it like TCB said, "put out there to keep ATV's out "?

Is it like Pappy said: "The signs are for EVERYONE", or only those with similar beliefs.

This is sure sounding like some of the Good Ole Boy rules pre-60s. I thought I lived in a free, non-discriminatory area.

I was mildly curious when I started reading this thread, now you guys really have my attention.
